Living at St Andrews West was proud to be the lead sponsors again at this year’s Chariots of Fire Beach Race, held on Sunday 1st June.
The race involves a 5km along the West Sands recreating the iconic scene from Chariots of Fire movie. An incredible 800 adults took part with an additional 100 children running in the 1 mile fun run.
Despite the rain spectator support was strong, creating an incredible atmosphere during the children’s and adult’s races and in the event village afterwards.
Following our support in 2024, Living at St Andrews West was delighted to be welcomed back by Ben and the volunteer team to be lead sponsor again this year. With all profits from the event going to RNLI, Home-Start East Fife, Families First- St Andrews, Arthur’s Army and The Wave Project Scotland, we were delighted to support such a great local event in aid of the local community. It really is a special day every year.
In addition to the runners medals, t-shirts and complementary fudge donut – Living at St Andrews West also handed out reusable tote bags. Providing a great memento of the 2025 race.
