St Andrews West (Phase 1) received a commendation for Private Development of Year (Medium) at the 25th Annual Homes for Scotland (HFS) Awards at the Annual Homes for Scotland Lunch and Awards back in May.
A judge’s report has now been published, and we are delighted with comments:
“Judges were hugely impressed by this bespoke, high-quality development of 18 houses and 20 Fishers apartments. Of note was the use of hand-made clay facing bricks, carefully selected paving with porous areas to manage surface water run-off and soft landscaping. Air source heat pumps and smart controls ensure a highly environmentally efficient energy system; however, it was the underground bin system which was the most significant new technology which impressed the judges.
St Andrews West has evolved over 20 years and is one of the first strategic developments within the town. Credit must go to Headon for the vision and delivery of what will be a legacy project.”
