We are delighted to announce that Studio LBA have been formally appointed as the architects for the next residential phase at St Andrews West. This continues their award-recognised work in previous phases of the St Andrews West masterplan development, the studio will continue to shape the vision at St Andrews West.
The next phase will deliver additional homes, ranging from generous family homes, apartments and include a range of mid-market rental homes. It will continue to focus on cohesively drawing together the community areas, pedestrian and bike-friendly travel routes and green public spaces, central to St Andrews West as a place, with the residential units which reflect elements of contemporary and traditionally-inspired design.
As reported in the Scottish Housing News, Lynsay Bell, Studio LBA’s Managing Director stated, “Our design approach for these residential phases takes inspiration from the traditional St Andrews architectural style, reinterpreting it for contemporary, energy-efficient living. Our vision prioritises quality placemaking, fostering a strong sense of community while delivering well-designed, functional homes. We are eager to build upon this foundation, further emphasising sustainability, design excellence, and community well-being.”
