Headon, S1 Developments and St Andrews West LLP were delighted to welcome a delegation from the St Andrews Loches Alliance for a tour of the development on Saturday 24th January.
This was to celebrate the naming of a street within the new St Andrews West development, Loches Drive. Recognising the long-running history of the twinned Medieval towns of St Andrews and Loches in the Loire Valley of France.
The nine visitors from the St Andrews Loches Alliance were given an introduction to the overarching vision for the development, highlighting the emphasis on creating a thriving mixed-use community in St Andrews. They were then fitted in PPE and shown the new street which is still under construction. The street will come into use in the coming months when the first new residents move into St Andrews West.
We look forward to welcoming a group back in the near future to officially open the new road.
In attendance from the St Andrews Loches Alliance were: Loches Mayor Marc Angenault, Valerie Gervѐs (Deputy Mayor); Louis Toulet and Hervé Jegou ( Loches town councillors); Anne-Sylvie Vassenaix-Paxton (Translator and Chair of Loches Alliance in Loches); Julien Lucas (French journalist); and Joyce Duncan (President of the St Andrews Loches Alliance), Callum McLeod (St Andrews Loches Alliance). Representing St Andrews West were Pat and Pauline Headon.
